Emergency Management Services
Post Incident Analysis/After Action Review
A Post Incident Analysis (PIA) or After Action Review (AAR) is standard practice for continuous organizational improvement. Following an incident or disruption, analysis by our Subject Matter Experts is crucial to identifying gaps, opportunities for improvement, and organizational successes. The use of an independent third-party to conduct a PIA/AAR is considered the gold-standard, and demonstrates your organization’s commitment to safety, security, and key results for stakeholders.
Fire Safety & Facility Emergency Planning
Fire safety and/or facility emergency plans are legal requirements for many business and commercial locations. We offer consultation services for in-house plan development, as well as turn-key total solutions to meet your organization’s needs and legal requirements. Facility emergency/fire safety plans can be developed as stand-alone resources, or as part of a holistic, all-hazards emergency management and business continuity program.
Emergency Management Program Consultation
As emergencies and disasters occur more frequently, with more severe impacts, and affect more organizations, how you prepare is key to how business looks on the other side of crisis. How you spend the days and months after a crisis shapes your place in the market – well prepared, your organization continues to thrive and meet client demand, while less prepared competitors turn inward.
Our team has extensive experience and skill in developing all-hazards emergency and consequence management programs across sectors, including high-reliability, high-availability organizations and industries. Whatever stage your journey to preparedness is at, we can help. From taking the first steps and leading conversations with executive, to updating plans and turning them into living programs, all the way to a total preparedness and full integration into your organizational culture, we have the tools and experience to meet you where you are, and build your capacity to navigate the unexpected.
Business Continuity Program Consultation
Impacts to business from emergencies and disasters are inevitable; how you respond is what sets you apart. The difference between resuming operations quickly, and extended down-time is dependant on your organizations ability to mitigate impacts, pivot to protect core functions and services, and restore your operations in an orderly, deliberate, and efficient manner.
A robust business continuity program identifies the most important aspects of your business, and understands what is required to protect or restore them following crisis. Traditionally, business continuity was Information Technology (IT) driven, and often a side-of-desk role. Modern and best-practice business continuity programs reflect the evolving and dynamic nature of business, and the varying impacts of disasters or emergencies. Put our extensive real-world and hands-on experience in full-cycle, agile business continuity program development and management to work for you.
Safety & Security Consultation
Human safety and asset security are essential to protecting your bottom line and reputation. Our safety and security consultants are experienced industry professionals who will help you to identify potential risks to your corporate security environment, and suggest industry best-practices to address gaps. With industry-leading training in Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPTED), current connections to law enforcement and security intelligence agencies, and years of professional skills, training, and experience to draw on, we help your organization minimize security risk, and implement contingency plans to manage unexpected threats and breaches.
Hazard & Risk Identification
The process of identifying, categorizing, and documenting organizational hazards and risks is a key aspect of evaluating and treating organizational risk. In many jurisdictions and sectors, this process and resulting risk registers are required for ongoing legislative and/or regulatory compliance.
Our team can help you identify hazards and risk factors which have the potential to cause harm, analyze those factors and evaluate the resulting risk levels, and provide guidance on implementing control measures to treat or mitigate those risks. Hazard and risk identification can be completed as a stand-alone exercise, or incorporated in to a larger risk management and business continuity strategy for your organization.
